EDDYTHERM® microprocessor controlled Induction Heater for bearings and other object allows precise setting of time or temperature to prevent premature bearing failures due to overheating. Temperature probe continuously measures and screen displays actual temperature. "Stand by" feature permits holding temperature at pre-set level for an indefinite time. Automatically demagnetizes workpieces after heating. Light and buzzer signal termination of heating/demagnetizing cycle.

Why shrink fitting?  Proper shrink fitting extends the life of roller bearings. Almost half of all reduced bearing life expectancy is due to improper fitting and installation. Rudimentary methods such as hammers and hydraulic presses risk damaging the inside surface of the inner ring and the bearing races. The best shrink fitting solution is with heating!
